DMX

There was always something there

But I just couldn’t touch it

Maybe it was when I would shake his hand and I couldn’t feel brotherhood anymore

Or maybe when I would get a chill

Whenever he came around

I tried to shake off whatever it was I sensed

I tried to ignore what I had been hearing

“That’s not your dawg”

“That’s not your friend ”

“That’s not your nigga”

I should have never let you come back around me

You ain’t no brother

You’re a parasite

You need me to make you feel good about yourself

Like someone is beneath you

You ain’t no brother

My eyes ain’t deceive me

What I feel ain’t fake

You ain’t no brother

You the type of nigga that got to have his own way

From my heart and my soul

Stay the fuck from around me.
