Creative Connections
Networking is about connection and putting your best foot forward. This workshop teaches all kinds of artists how to highlight what makes them unique. Networking focuses on building authentic relationships with your peers. Most importantly, learning to take advantage of opportunities as they arise.
Writer’s Block?
Sometimes inspiration can be hard to find. Writer’s Block teaches how to direct your creativity. This workshop helps artists learn how to make the space around them conducive for productivity. We will explore ways to prevent formulaic creation by challenging artists to keep an open mind when bringing their art to life.
Finding Your Style
Finding Your Style is about exploring and embracing the individuality in your writing. Artists will learn to identify their artistic fingerprint. With this workshop, we will discuss what makes your writing unique and how to cultivate your unique voice as a writer.
Spoken Word 101
A Workshop that explores the two main aspects of Spoken Word Poetry: Poetry and Performance! Those who participate will become familiar with basic and pivotal aspects of good writing, practice writing Spoken Word Poetry, explore how performance can elevate poetry, and demonstrate their learned performance skills.
