Shahaan O. Azeem
Based in New York, Shahaan O. Azeem immigrated to the United States from Guyana, South America at a very young age. Growing up with American culture, while maintaining his own cultural identity would be very important in shaping Shahaan’s identity. These experiences would also inform his work, which explores themes of identity, equality, perception, and representation.
