What is Connect & Collect: Performance Showcase and Night Gallery?
Connect & Collect: Performance Showcase and Night Gallery is a night of spoken word Poetry, live musical performances, and live dance. All accompanied by a one of a kind night gallery of Black, Brown, and/or queer businesses. This year’s event will take place Friday November 23rd, 2023 at from 6pm-9pm 7th+Grove located at 1930 E 7th Ave, Tampa, FL 33605.

How did Connect & Collect: Performance Showcase and Night Gallery Come Into Existence? A Brief History Lesson
On our journey to fulfilling our mission of equity in the arts, we wanted to take things a step further. As Tampa Bay residents, who are also a queer artist of color, we found that spaces that allow art from our unique perspective to shine were limited or nonexistent altogether. Knowing this we partnered with Evolve Tampa Bay in the year of 2021 and implemented a new initiative that fostered the community and brought opportunities to underrepresented artists, businesses, and organizations local to the Tampa Bay area. Connect & Collect: Performance Showcase and Night Gallery was born and we have been going strong ever since!
